Three things that are true of this mill
The whole chain, one building
At a cut-and-sew factory you learn one operation. Here raw fibre arrives at one end and finished garments leave at the other, so the work is not limited to a single machine or a single trade.
Machinery worth learning
Stoll flat knitting, Shima Seiki whole-garment, Savio winding, Bigagli spinning, PDM dyeing. Operating European and Japanese textile equipment is a skill that travels with you.
Conditions someone else checked
MNS 6926:2021 sets 27 social requirements alongside its 34 environmental ones. We are certified against it by an accredited body, and the certificate is published rather than described.
Where the work happens
Seven stages, all on one floor plan
Because every stage is on one site, a career here is not confined to a single operation.
- 01 Fibre Selection & SortingRaw cashmere arrives from herding cooperatives and is graded and sorted by hand.
- 02 SpinningSorted fibre becomes yarn — scouring, dehairing, carding and spinning to count.
- 03 DyeingLab dips and bulk dyeing across 81 standard colourways, plus custom Pantone matching.
- 04 KnittingStoll flat and Shima Seiki whole-garment machines, from 3GG through to 16GG.
- 05 WeavingThe woven side — shirtings, twills, throws and blankets, each loom dressed per project.
- 06 Quality ControlMulti-point inspection against MNS 6809:2019 before anything is approved for finishing.
- 07 Finishing & PackagingWashing, pressing, linking, hand-finished detail, labelling and dispatch.
