Upholstery-Grade Textiles

Heavy-weight wool and cashmere textiles engineered for interiors, home furnishings, and statement outerwear. Higher durability, textural depth.

Upholstery-grade textiles carry the hand of our knitwear and ready-to-wear fabrics with the weight and durability needed for interior applications — throws, seating, panels, and architectural pieces. 100% cashmere fabrics can be produced from any of our cashmere counts — two-ply at Nm 26/2, or singles at Nm 14.5/1 and 16/1 — in all 81 colourways.

Finish

How our upholstery cloth is finished

Upholstery cloth takes the woven route and takes it further. It is milled on Zonco and Famit to close the sett and build the density these constructions need, then raised — on Lafer, or with teasels where a softer, less uniform surface is wanted — and cropped on Mario Crosta. Decatizing on KD Biella sets the cloth so it holds its dimensions in use. Each quality’s own route is named in its Finish line above.
